Hopefully, the navigation of the site is fairly self-explanatory. To point out just a couple of things, the main menus are at the top of the page, with drop down expansions where appropriate. These choices will take you most of the places you'll want to go. There are also a few key shortcut links to the left just under the main menu. On some pages, such as the Newsletter Archive page, you'll find additional menus. Most pages will also have a "breadcrumb trail" that lists the steps you've taken to get to that page. You'll find the breadcrumb trail just under the main menu. It looks like this:
Clicking on any of the steps in the breadcrumb trail should take you back to that step. This can be useful in backing up if you end up somewhere you didn't want to be.
This new site currently has pretty much the same information as the old site, hopefully in a more attractive and easier to use format. Our wish is that this new site will quickly diverge from the old one, however, with more up-to-date and more useful information. We specifically used a "Content Management System" to build the site. This means that it's designed so many people can add and change "content" on the site -- not just the webmaster(s). If your committee would like to edit your pages, contact the Communication Committee.
We greatly appreciate all the feedback we've received so far and have tried to respond to it. Of course, no website can be all things to all people, so please don't think we've ignored you if we haven't made all the changes you've suggested. We encourage further feedback, and please let us know if you encounter problems.
