One of the things we are doing during Worship Circle this year is to read the story: The Quest of the Rainbow Dragon, by Elizabeth H. Stevens. The story describes the adventures of two children who are attempting to fulfill the words of a prophecy. The adventures unfold during 28 installments, each ending with a "Dragon Task" to be completed by the children during the week. (The Dragon Task for Installment 1 is: "This week, if you notice someone feeling scared or uncomfortable, offer to help them. Be friendly to someone you've never met before.")
Each installment will be posted on the website so that you too can share the adventures of Jared and Delia, perhaps re-reading the story during the week with your child. Together you will be able to reflect on the lessons that the protagonists learn each week. And if you miss a week, you'll still be able to read the story and complete the Dragon Task!
