care. We ask parents to stay with their children until
they feel comfortable. Please pick up your children
immediately after the service.
Chalice Children: Three to Five-Year-Olds

A curriculum of activities and stories to help pre-schoolers grow. For
the young child, religious education relates to their immediate world. It involves
self-discovery, pride in learning new skills, and expressing emotions and ideas.
Super Heroes of the Bible: Kindergarten & 1st Grade

Brown, Andrea Mills,Judy Damore
A values based curriculum for UU children which explores
the famous heroes of the Jewish and Christian scriptures
which pays attention to our Unitarian Universalist
interpretations. Emphasis is on Bible characters as
children.
CHILDREN'S GROUPS Timeless Themes: 2nd -3rd Grades

This year all classes will be learning about the Bible stories from
our Unitarian Universalist perspective. The class will have hands on experience
of the Bible, with the traditional stories from the Hebrew and Christian scriptures.
Living the Promise : 4th-6th Grades
Leaders: Cindy Stewart, Gretta Johnson-Sally
This curriculum is based on stories from the Hebrew
scriptures but Christian stories are also included.
Bible stories are from our Unitarian Universalist perspective.
YOUTH GROUPS UU Views About Jesus Middle
School Youth
Leaders: Nancy Hunter, Nancy Lynch
This class will begin with an emphasis on group building games. Coming
of age issues are discussed. The curriculum focuses on the life and teachings
of Jesus and tells stories from the Hebrew and Christian scriptures and how
we Unitarian-Universalists interpret them.
Sunday Morning Discussion Senior High Youth
Leaders: Melissa Elliott , Gil Hanson
Young people get together to talk about current UU and religious issues
and their spirituality. Gil leads them in preparing a service on Unitarian
Universalist history.
Senior High Youth Group
Leaders:Harlan Loveless and Elizabeth Capobianco
This group of 9th - 12th graders meets weekly (during
the school year )
Sundays 6:30-8:30 PM at the Fellowship for food,
fun, social action and discussion of relevant topics.
