| We
are a diverse and growing religious community with over
225 adult members and a religious education program that
serves more than 105 children and youth. Gathered as a
congregation in 1962, we are grounded in the centuries-old
religious heritage of American Unitarian and Universalist
theologies, and are a member of the national Unitarian
Universalist Association.
Each
Unitarian Universalist Congregation is self-governing.
Authority and responsibility are vested in the membership
of the congregation. An elected board of Trustees and Officers
and a small paid staff administer the Unitarian Universalist
Fellowship at Stony Brook. For more information about how
we run our congregation, or our committees and activity goups,
please contact the main office or our contact us link.
